Draft Education Plans and Policies
In preparation for their Funding Agreement (FA), all new schools have to prepare plans for the organisation of learning and curriculum. These plans outline details of the approach The Swanage School will take to the curriculum offer and the management of teaching and learning.
Our plans have been reviewed in detail by our Department for Education (DfE) advisers though until the school's Funding Agreement (FA) has been signed by the secretary of State they have to be regarded as provisional. Our FA is with the DfE for signing now.
Meanwhile we are very pleased to be able to share our draft education plans with you. Our newly appointed Principal, Mr Tristram Hobson, will be deeply involved (on an informal basis from September) in reviewing the education plans and working with us on developing and refining them for implementation, including staffing arrangements, time-tabling and school policies.
