The Swanage School at Harrow House
Harrow House will be the home of The Swanage School for one term from September 2013. We will have a floor of the building dedicated solely to our students plus timetabled use of the sports dome, tennis courts and indoor swimming pool as well as the assembly hall and dining rooms.
Our students will experience the very best teaching in facilities considered to be amongst the best provided by any language school in the UK. In addition, each of our classrooms will be fully equipped by us for our students and will include specialist DT, science, music and ICT equipment, so even before our own bespoke facilities are complete we will offer a full educational curriculum.
Prior to opening we will undergo an OFSTED inspection, ensuring that students will be well cared for in a safe and secure environment, and that teaching and learning is of the highest quality.
Harrow House is itself inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. In October 2012 it was awarded Grade 1 by the ISI, which 'exceeds expectations' in all respects. The ISI report states that "Standards of welfare, health and safety exceed expectations. The college estate, buildings and extensive sports facilities are extremely well maintained and provide an outstanding environment which supports learning very effectively."
We are extremely grateful to the management and staff of Harrow House for their support and assistance up to and during our first term, and we look forward to working with them collaboratively beyond 2013.
